OUR ORGANISATION
The board

The German Museums Association is governed by a volunteer board, consisting of a president, vice president, and eight additional members. The board is elected by general assembly for a term of four years and represents the various specialisations within the museum sector.
Administrative Office

The administrative staff serve as the primary points of contact for members and handle the day-to-day operations of the association. The office is overseen by a full-time executive management team.
Working Groups

Much of the work of the German Museums Association is done in its working groups. These focus on museum disciplines such as art or natural history and on activities like exhibitions and outreach.
