Marie-Christin Krüger

Is a research assistant in the regional and municipal museum of Luebben (spree forest), where she is in charge of the curation of new special exhibitions and the museum education. The museum welcomes about 10.000 visitors each year (2019) and is dedicated to the cultural history of Luebben, Lower Lusatia and the Spree forest.

Her academic education followed a broad approach led by curiosity. While working in the Augustinermuseum of Freiburg she gained five years of experience in museum education. As an historian of modern History she loves to revive history and inspire people to reflect about their past.  Within her work she tries to tailor educational offers that match the visitor’s interests and encourage intrinsic and active learning.
